lclUpParExcFast - local - update a parameter using fast quelist, exclude

caller

Description

lclUpParExcFast posts a parameter update to dbman’s fast qlist. The caller is excluded when posting updates to subscribed clients.

This is useful in cases where a client has subscribed to a parameter but may wish to update it without receiving an update message.

The request is passed in local mode.

This function is part of librmt.

Syntax

int fo,
LABEL *Lpnt,
DESC *Dpnt,
double V,
int verbosity
);

Arguments

fo

The file descriptor for the connection to dbman.

Lpnt

a pointer to a LABEL record

Dpnt

a pointer to a DESC record

V

new value

verbosity

Defines the amount of messages to print. This value is passed on to SendRec. A value of 0 produces no messages. See the SendRec manpage for full details on available values.

Return Values

ERRok is returned if the transaction is successful.
The error code from the transaction is returned if there is a communications error.
