GPIBtask - CAMAC GPIB module service
GPIBtask [dbman_host]
[Cmin] [Cmax]
GPIB I/O service for a Kinetic System 3388 CAMAC
module. This programs supports a Stanford Research Systems function generator
and a Group3 Hall probe controller. Support for other equipment must be
hardcoded into the program.
- dbman_host
- The host where dbman is running.
- Cmin
- The minimum crate number.
- Cmax
- The maximum crate number.
Hall
probes controlled by this program will have their calibration, zeroing,
and scaling factors cleared if a DataRec with DevKey Dev3388Fin is present
in the data table.
The symbols are present
to support a MetroLab NMR but this has not been implemented. It is not recommended
that GPIB service using the 3388 be done in new systems as the CAMAC module
has shown itself to be a lousy GPIB controller.
